WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: Legacy Trail between the east Park boundary and Valleyview Day-use Area. 

WHY: Damage to one of the Legacy Trail pedestrian bridges has made the bridge unsafe for passage. To ensure public safety until the bridge has been repaired, access to the affected section of the Legacy Trail is not permitted.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
