Pursuant to section 7.1 (2) of the National Parks General Regulations, the Superintendent of Waterton Lakes National Park hereby designates travel within Waterton Lakes National Park as a designated activity, requiring authorization in the form of a park pass.

A Park Pass is required by all persons travelling within Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada except where a person:

a) is passing through the park along Highway 5, or Highway 6 without stopping, or

b) stops in the case of a medical or other emergency, or

c) is an employee of a federal or provincial agency on official business
