Effective date: May 5, 2026 

Activities restricted: Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations the following area is hereby closed and restricted to authorized personnel only by order of the Superintendent, Elk Island National Park:

Where: Administration Road

Why: To ensure public safety by preventing human use in areas where road repairs are being conducted.

Penalty: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
