Bulletins

Pursuant to section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the Superintendent has designated the following activities in Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve as prohibited:

Entry to Desnéthcheé (the Spiritual Gathering site) and surrounding area

except for members of the Łutsël K'é Dene First Nation and their invited guests. This closure does not apply to Indigenous peoples engaged in activities protected by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.

From: August 5, 2025

End date: August 19, 2025

Penalty: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act. Maximum penalty $25,000
