·  Friday, May 16 at 8:00am until Monday, May19 at 6:00pm

·  Friday, June 27 at 8:00am until Tuesday, July 1 at 6:00pm

·  Friday, August 1 at 8:00am until Monday, August 4 at 6:00pm

·   Friday, August 29 at 8:00am until Monday, September 1 at 6:00pm

LOCATION: BEAVER GLEN, RED DEER, NARROWS, SANDY LAKE & NAMEKUS LAKE CAMPGROUNDS

BACKGROUND: To encourage a quality family park experience and to address past inappropriate behaviour and excessive noise in campgrounds on long weekends, a ban on the possession and consumption of liquor and cannabis in the campground is in place. This ban has proven successful over several years in reducing disturbances in the campground and in providing a quality family park experience.

RESTRICTION:  Pursuant to section 13 (b) of the National Parks of Canada Camping Regulations, during the above listed dates the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages in campgrounds is prohibited.               

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the superintendent may, where it is necessary for the proper management of the Park to do so, designate certain activities, uses or entry and travel in areas in a Park as restricted or prohibited. During the above listed dates the possession and consumption of cannabis in campgrounds is prohibited.
