La Mauricie National Park
From March 31 to May 14, 2025 inclusive, the facilities are closed and there is no service on park territory. The Parkway is closed. A gradual opening will take place for the summer season. Starting May 15, the park will open the Saint-Gérard and Rivière à la Pêche sectors. Visitors will be able to access the trails, campgrounds and oTENTiks in these sectors by purchasing their park entrance fee. From May 23, the Parkway will be completely open to motorized vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Visitors who decide to access the trails are responsible for their own safety and must be self-reliant in the event of any emergency situation. Emergency services may be unavailable or significantly delayed during this period. Cell phone services do not cover the entire La Mauricie National Park territory. La Mauricie National Park's specialists maintain a vast network of marked trails covering almost 70 km for classic and skate-style cross-country skiing, as well as over 50 km for winter hiking in the heart of the forest. Trail quality is our top priority.
The team maintains the cross-country ski trails with modern groomers, equipped with a GPS system that continuously feeds the following interactive trail conditions map.

The platform indicates which winter hiking and cross-country ski trails are open or closed, the snow accumulation, and the date and time of the last grooming and track setting of cross-country ski trails.
Check the complete list of trails or sort them with these three buttons:
- Date: sort trails by date of the last grooming and track setting
- ABC: check the complete list of trails in alphabetical order
- Difficulty: check the list of trails by level of difficulty
As weather and trail conditions can change rapidly over the course of a day, cross-country skiers and hikers need to be prepared for all types of conditions.
