Note: Défis du Parc 18th edition

On September 6 and 7, 2025, Cyclo-Mauricie and La Mauricie National Park welcome Park Challenge participants who will challenge the kilometers of the Promenade route by bike on Saturday or the trails by run or walk on Sunday.

Exclusively in La Mauricie National Park, several challenges await participants during the Défis du Parc. On Saturday, cyclists will ride the exceptional Parkway. On Sunday, runners and walkers will come to survey the hiking trails with a unique experience in the middle of nature.

In order to accommodate Les Défis du Parc, the Parkway will partially be closed from Friday, September 5 at 9:00 pm until approximately 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, between kilometres 6 and 62.

The trails surrounding the Rivière à la Pêche Service Centre at the Saint-Jean-des-Piles entrance and the junction of the road leading to the Mistagance Campground, the Shewenegan Picnic Area, and the trails in these areas at the Saint-Mathieu entrance will be accessible to visitors.
