Hours of operation

Pukaskwa National Park offers a variety of activities from May through to October with road access into the park.  

Here are the detailed hours of operation of park facilities and services. 

*Please note that season start and end dates are weather dependent.

Hattie Cove Campground

May 15 to September 14

• Full services, full rates
• Comfort stations are open, water is available
• Register at the Park kiosk

September 15 to October 15

• Reduced rates, reduced services
• Comfort stations are open, water is available
• Register at the park Kiosk

Park Kiosk

May 15 – June 14

• Daily: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

June 15 - September 15

• Daily: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

September 16 – October 15

• Daily: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Should you arrive when the park Kiosk is closed, self-registration is available. Please follow the registration steps posted.

Visitor Centre

June 15 -  September 15

• Daily: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Backcountry Camping

• Backcountry hiking and paddling routes, including the Coastal Hiking Trail, Mdaabii Miikna, the Coastal Paddling Route are open May 15 – October 15.
• All backcountry visitors must register upon arrival and complete a safety orientation.

Park Administration Office

Open year round

• 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
