Pursuant to section 3(1)(c) of the National Parks of Canada Fire Protection Regulations, starting and/or maintaining fires within Kouchibouguac National Park is hereby PROHIBITED by order of the Superintendent.

Front-country Campgrounds and Day Use Areas

A PARTIAL fire ban (8 am - 8 pm) has been issued for front-country campgrounds and day use areas in Kouchibouguac National Park due to elevated fire danger.

Lighting or maintaining fires in these areas is now strictly prohibited between 8 am and 8 pm.

Back-country campgrounds

A COMPLETE fire ban has been issued for back-country campgrounds in Kouchibouguac National Park due to elevated fire danger.

Lighting or maintaining fires in these areas is now strictly prohibited at all time in back-country campgrounds.
