Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activity is hereby restricted by order of the Superintendent, Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks:

Access and entry to the Mt. Stephen Zone 1 is restricted and is only permitted with a valid Restricted Activity Permit. This area is indicated in blue on the attached map and is legally described as within the UTM NAD 83 coordinates 536500/56932000 to 538300/5692000 to 539900/569300 to 537500/5694600.

Information about registered Guided Hikes and Restricted Activity Permit may be obtained from the Visitor Information Centre in Field.
