Reservations for the 2024 season will launch on January 19, 2024 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. Campsite reservations are accepted at Snowforest Campground and at Eva Lake and Jade Lakes backcountry campgrounds.

Located near the start of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mount Revelstoke National Park, Snowforest is a short 5 km drive from downtown Revelstoke. The campground offers a variety of options including large pull-through RV campsites with electricity. The campground is surrounded by cedar-hemlock rainforest and is connected seamlessly to the lower mountain trail network. While the campground is an excellent basecamp to explore Mount Revelstoke’s many scenic vistas, please note that due to the sharply winding road, vehicles over 26ft (7.93m) in length cannot travel up the Meadows in the Sky Parkway beyond the campground.Snowforest Campground is currently restricted to hard-sided camping units only to ensure the safety of bears and visitors.
Hard-sided camping units are vehicles constructed with rigid, solid materials, and have no soft sides. Permitted vehicles include truck campers, motorhomes, or recreational vehicles. Soft-sided camping units, like 'pop-up' tent trailers and tents are not allowed. Camper vehicles such as VW vans and pickup trucks with canvas pop-ups are permitted as long as the canvas is not exposed.

* A campground fee is applied to each site. Additionally, overnight guests must possess a National Park pass, available for purchase at the Parks Canada Administration Office in Revelstoke, the Meadows in the Sky Parkway kiosk or online, before their arrival at the campground. Additional costs may be incurred based on services required. Purchase these additional items before your arrival or at the campground.
** Firewood is available for use within the campground with purchase of a fire permit. Please don’t take more than an armload per night. Use only firewood that is provided at the campground. Moving firewood to and from campgrounds can spread invasive species.
Check in, registration & check out
The majority of sites at Snowforest Campground are reservable. If you have a reservation, please proceed directly to your site. Once you are set up please walk over to the Campground Centre to check in. If you do not have a reservation, inquire at the Campground Centre.
The maximum length of stay is 14 nights. Check out is 12 pm.

MicrOcubes
The MicrOcube’s contemporary design gives you a unique and comfortable option for enjoying the outdoors overnight. Experience camping while sleeping with a roof over your head and a floor beneath your feet. The MicrOcubes are located within Snowforest Campground with easy access to the trails and activities in the park and the City of Revelstoke. The three MicrOcubes each sleep 2 people in an interior space of 10 sq. m. There is a double pullout bed (54 in.), a small side table, chairs, interior lighting, campfire ring, picnic table and parking for one vehicle at each MicrOcube site. No camping tents or recreational vehicles are permitted on-site, but screen tents for dining are allowed.
What to bring: Bedding and/or sleeping bags, blankets and pillows, lawn chairs, camping stove, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, towels, flashlight, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent, food, drinks, water containers, an axe, matches or lighter.
Please note: There is no heating, plumbing or running water in the MicrOcube units, but they are located near the shower building and outdoor sinks. Cooking may only be done outside.
Pets: Not allowed in the MicrOcubes.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are in effect daily to ensure that visitors get a good night's sleep.
- Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Campfires, visitors, consumption of alcohol, cannabis and cannabis products are not permitted during this time.
- Only site occupants are allowed in the campground after 11 pm
Please remember, even quiet conversations can carry through a forested area. Excessive noise is not permitted at any time of the day. Please report disturbances to park wardens or staff.

The campground accommodates Class A motorhomes (over 10 m or 33 ft) at 15 campsites.
Bears
Camping with dogs
Bringing your furry family member? Dogs are welcome in Snowforest Campground but must be on a leash at all times. Do not leave pets unattended. You must pick up after your pets and ensure that all pet food is stored in your vehicle or the bear-proof lockers.
Alcohol and cannabis
Consuming alcohol, cannabis and cannabis products is only allowed at registered campsites. Daily quiet hours concerning consumption are also in place.
Cannabis is legalized and strictly regulated in Canada. It is your responsibility to understand federal, provincial and municipal regulations for cannabis and alcohol consumption while visiting Mount Revelstoke National Park.
Camping outside of Mount Revelstoke National Park
Glacier National Park has two campgrounds 70km east of Mount Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway. Several commercial campgrounds are found in the communities of Revelstoke and Golden. Two BC Parks campgrounds, Martha Creek and Blanket Creek, are located within 20 minutes of Revelstoke.
