Special caution is recommended while travelling or camping in this area due to the following:

WHAT: Caution – aggressive bear in the area

WHERE: Rowe Lakes Trail

WHY: A grizzly bear charged a large group of people in this area.

For this reason we advise:
· Carry bear spray and know how to use it
· Travel in a tight group (of 4 or more)
· Make noise as you hike
· Keep your dog on a leash, or preferably leave it at home
· Never approach wildlife
