SUPERINTENDENT ORDER

EFFECTIVE DATE: June 3, 2025  

Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following area is closed and restricted to authorized personnel only by order of the Superintendent, Elk Island National Park:

WHERE: Simmons Trail

WHY: Hazards due to construction

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25,000.
