WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: The area between Cave and Basin and the Bow River extending west and ending at the Sundance / Healy Creek Trail Junction. Closed trails include Sundance Trail, Sundance-Highline Horse Trail, Sulphur Mountain Westside Trail, and a portion of the Marsh Loop. 

WHY: For the safety of visitors and the public during mechanical forest thinning, debris burning and log hauling operations.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
