History
glen miller lockstation
Constructed: 1908-1912

Glen Miller is the largest single lock in the southern area and the biggest single lift next to Swift Rapids. Thanks to the innovative valve system, the rise and fall is very gentle. Construction of the Ontario - Rice Lake division was split into 7 sections and complications arose at this site where a paper mill and dam existed forcing the government to acquire the rights to continue construction.
