Paranormal Investigations Overnight Experience: 19+ event

Explore a darker side of the 300-year history of the Fortress of Louisbourg and test the claim that it is one of the most haunted sites in Nova Scotia!

5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Arrival, Tents, & Tavern Step through the fortress gates and claim your place for the night. Your tent will be waiting, a solitary shelter against the encroaching dark. While the chill of evening settles in, gather in the shadowy storehouse tavern—where candlelight flickers, glasses clink, and anticipation builds for the ghostly encounters to come.

7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.: Paranormal Investigations As twilight surrenders to night, the fortress comes alive with whispers of the past. Small groups descend into forgotten halls, shadowed bastions, and echoing chambers in search of the unseen. Every gust of wind, every sudden creak may be the fortress answering back.

12:00 a.m.: Extended Investigations When midnight strikes, the bravest continue deeper into the darkness. A campfire crackles in the Bastion, its glow casting long, restless shadows, offering both comfort and unease as tales are shared and mysteries unravel.

The tavern will remain open until 10:00 p.m.
