Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites and the Arts and Culture Colwood Society present In Sight Festival 2023 this September 9th and 10th. The two-day festival showcases local artists and cultural practices and is an opportunity for everyone to experience arts and culture through personal engagement in one of British Columbia’s most scenic oceanfront settings.

On Saturday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.):  

The Lekwungen Dancers will open the festival at 11 am. Art exhibitions in three of Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse NHS historic buildings, and a special one-hour kick off performance by musical guests Island Circus Space starting at 1 p.m. These world-class aerial artists have performed across Europe and North America.

Musical guests feature Cuban dynamo, Miguelito Valdes Trio at 12 noon and Jazz Diva, Maureen Washington Quartet at 2 p.m.

A variety of local and Indigenous artisans will be showcasing their work on site and children’s art activities will be available both days.
